The Yeastar S412 Lite is an S-Series PBX designed to integrate IP communications with analogue telephone and traditional telephony connections. It supports up to eight FXS ports, including four fixed and four customisable FXS connections, allowing compatible analogue telephones to be incorporated into the system. Configurable line ports support FXO or BRI connectivity depending on the installed configuration, while dual 10/100Mbps Ethernet interfaces provide flexible network deployment through Single, Bridge and Dual operating modes. A dedicated TF card slot also provides local storage for automatic recording files.

Up to 8 FXS Ports

The S412 Lite supports up to eight FXS ports for connecting analogue telephones. Four FXS ports numbered 1–4 are fixed, while four additional customisable FXS ports use positions 9–12. Yeastar specifically notes that ports 5–8 and their corresponding indicators do not operate on the S412 Lite.

FXO and BRI Line Connectivity

The S412 Lite's configurable line interfaces provide support for traditional telephony infrastructure. FXO ports can be used to connect PSTN lines or FXS interfaces from a traditional PBX, while BRI ports provide connectivity for compatible ISDN BRI lines.

Flexible Dual Ethernet Networking

Two adaptive 10/100Mbps RJ45 Ethernet ports are provided, with support for Single, Bridge and Dual operating modes. Single is the default configuration and uses the LAN interface for the uplink while disabling WAN. Bridge mode uses LAN for the uplink and WAN as a bridge connection for a PC, while Dual mode allows both LAN and WAN to operate as uplink connections.

TF Card Recording Storage

A dedicated TF card slot allows compatible removable storage to be installed for automatic recording files, providing local storage functionality directly on the PBX.

Front-Panel Status Monitoring

Front-panel LEDs provide at-a-glance information about the PBX. Dedicated indicators display power and system status together with LAN and WAN activity, while individual telephony indicators provide status information for compatible FXS, FXO and BRI interfaces.
