The Wharfedale T-SUB-AX12B is a compact 12-inch active subwoofer designed to add powerful, controlled low-frequency reinforcement to portable PA and installed sound systems. Its 500 W continuous Class D amplifier, custom quad-layer driver and adjustable low-pass filter make it a practical partner for compatible active loudspeakers, including models from the Wharfedale Pro Tourus, Titan and Typhon ranges.
Compact, Powerful Bass Reinforcement
The custom Wharfedale Pro 12-inch low-frequency driver uses a quad-layer 2-inch voice coil and is powered by a convection-cooled Class D amplifier. With 500 W continuous power, 1000 W peak power and a maximum sound pressure level of 130 dB at 1 metre in half-space conditions, the T-SUB-AX12B delivers substantial low-frequency support from a comparatively compact cabinet.
Adjustable System Control
An adjustable 80–200 Hz low-pass filter helps match the subwoofer to different active top speakers and system configurations. A 0°/180° polarity switch provides additional control when aligning the subwoofer with the rest of the sound system, while balanced XLR connectivity supports professional audio equipment.
Durable Birch-Plywood Cabinet
The bass-reflex enclosure is constructed from birch plywood and protected by Wharfedale Pro’s black polyurea Tough-Tone finish. A black steel grille protects the driver, while two integrated handles, a 35 mm pole socket and an illuminated front logo support practical portable-PA deployment.
