Features

Intelligent Auto-Tracking Technology

The Volkano Follow Me stand is designed to automatically follow a selected subject during smartphone recording. Its motorised tracking system helps keep people, pets and other supported objects within the camera frame as they move.

360-Degree Horizontal Rotation

The motorised base supports unlimited 360-degree horizontal rotation, allowing the mounted smartphone to follow movement around the stand. This provides flexible framing for hands-free video recording and live content.

Facial Tracing

Facial tracing functionality helps the stand follow a person's face during supported recording sessions. This is particularly useful for presentations, vlogging and videos involving movement.

Object and Body Tracking

In addition to facial tracking, the stand supports selected body, pet and object recognition functions through its companion application. This makes it useful for a variety of creative recording activities.

Adjustable Vertical Viewing Angle

The phone holder provides mechanical tilt adjustment of up to 37 degrees upward and 37 degrees downward. This allows users to position the smartphone at a suitable recording angle.

Adjustable Smartphone Clamp

The integrated clamp accommodates smartphones measuring approximately 56-100mm wide. Its adjustable design allows installation of compatible smartphones without requiring a dedicated device-specific holder.

Bluetooth Wireless Connectivity

Bluetooth connectivity allows the stand to communicate with compatible smartphones for supported tracking and smart shooting functions. The manufacturer specifies support for iOS 10.0 and later, as well as compatible Android devices.

Convenient Smart Shooting

Smart shooting functionality enables additional hands-free capture features through the supported application. Users can set up their smartphones and create content without having to manually reposition the camera continuously.

Portrait and Landscape Recording

The adjustable holder supports portrait and landscape smartphone positioning. This provides flexibility for vertical social media videos, traditional horizontal recordings and compatible video conferencing applications.

Beauty Filter Functionality

The supported companion application includes a beauty filter feature for enhancing the appearance of compatible captured images and video content. Feature availability depends on the application and connected smartphone.

Suitable for Vlogging

The stand provides a practical hands-free filming solution for vloggers and content creators. Automatic tracking helps maintain camera framing when presenting products, demonstrating activities or recording moving subjects.

Social Media and Video Conferencing

The Follow Me stand can be used alongside many popular social media and video conferencing applications. Its tracking and positioning capabilities provide additional flexibility for compatible streaming, meeting and recording workflows.

Tripod-Compatible Design

The stand supports tripod mounting, allowing users to position their smartphones at different heights when using a compatible tripod. This provides greater flexibility than desktop placement alone.

Battery-Powered Operation

The motorised stand operates using three 1.5V AA batteries, providing portable operation without requiring a continuous USB power connection. Batteries must be purchased separately.

Compact Desktop Design

Featuring a stable black base and adjustable phone holder, the Follow Me stand is suitable for desks, tables and other level recording surfaces. Its compact construction makes it convenient for home, office and content creation environments.
