5MP High-Resolution Video

The IPC2225SE-DF40K-WL-I0 uses a 5MP 1/2.7-inch CMOS sensor capable of capturing 2880 × 1620 video at up to 30fps. Lower-resolution 4MP, 3MP, 1080p and 720p streams are also supported, providing flexibility for different recording, bandwidth and storage requirements.

ColorHunter Full-Colour Imaging

Uniview ColorHunter technology is designed to maintain full-colour images around the clock. Combined with the large F1.0 aperture, the camera provides a minimum colour illumination rating of 0.001 lux with AGC enabled, improving scene visibility in challenging low-light environments.

4mm Fixed F1.0 Lens

The DF40K model features a 4mm fixed lens with an F1.0 aperture. It provides an 80.2° horizontal, 43° vertical and 94.7° diagonal field of view. DORI distances are rated at 90m for detection, 36m for observation, 18m for recognition and 9m for identification.

30m Warm-Light Illumination

Integrated warm-light illumination provides supplemental lighting at distances of up to 30 metres. The light can be controlled automatically or manually, complementing ColorHunter technology when full-colour surveillance is required after dark.

Smart Intrusion Prevention

Intelligent perimeter protection includes cross-line detection, intrusion detection, enter-area detection and leave-area detection. Target classification distinguishes between humans, motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles, helping filter false alarms caused by irrelevant scene activity.

People Counting and Intelligent Detection

The camera supports people-flow counting and crowd-density detection for applications requiring occupancy and movement analytics. Additional event functions include standard motion detection, Ultra Motion Detection, tampering alarms and audio detection.

Advanced Image Processing

120dB true WDR helps preserve detail in scenes containing both bright and dark areas. Additional image-processing functions include 2D/3D digital noise reduction, highlight compensation, backlight compensation, digital defog, smart illumination, privacy masking and region-of-interest configuration.

Flexible Storage and Integration

A MicroSD card slot supports local edge storage capacities up to 512GB, while ANR and NAS using NFS are supported for network-based storage. ONVIF Profiles S, G, T and M, together with API and SDK support, provide integration options for compatible surveillance platforms.

IP67 and IK10 Protection

The camera uses a durable metal enclosure rated to IP67 for environmental protection and IK10 for impact resistance. It is designed to operate in temperatures ranging from -30°C to 60°C, making it suitable for demanding indoor and outdoor surveillance installations.
