The Uniview XVR302-16Q4 is a versatile 16-channel 1U digital video recorder designed for hybrid surveillance systems using analog and IP cameras. It supports TVI, AHD, CVI, CVBS and IP video sources, allowing existing coaxial surveillance infrastructure to be combined with newer network cameras. Dual SATA drive interfaces, H.265/H.264 compression, 4K HDMI output, smart analytics and Gigabit Ethernet connectivity make it suitable for commercial, retail, office and multi-camera security installations.

Hybrid Analog and IP Camera Support

The XVR302-16Q4 is designed for hybrid surveillance environments and supports TVI, AHD, CVI, CVBS and IP cameras. Sixteen BNC inputs provide direct analog-camera connectivity, while eight IP channels are available as standard. When additional analog resources are reassigned, the recorder can support up to 24 IP video channels.

Up to 8MP Analog Camera Input

The recorder supports a wide range of analog camera resolutions and frame rates, including compatible 8MP TVI, AHD and CVI signals. This allows higher-resolution analog surveillance cameras to be deployed while retaining existing coaxial cabling infrastructure.

4K HDMI Video Output

Display connectivity includes HDMI, VGA and CVBS outputs. The HDMI connection supports resolutions up to 3840 × 2160 at 30Hz, while VGA supports up to 1920 × 1080 and other standard display resolutions. HDMI and VGA output can operate simultaneously for flexible local monitoring.

H.265 Video Compression

Support for H.265 and H.264 compression helps reduce storage and network bandwidth requirements while maintaining compatible video quality. Recording resolutions include 8MP Lite, 3K Lite, 5MP Lite, 4MP Lite, 1080p, 720p and D1.

Smart Surveillance Analytics

The XVR302-16Q4 provides recorder-based smart functions including Ultra Motion Detection, Face Detection and Smart Intrusion Prevention. Smart Intrusion Prevention includes intrusion detection, cross-line detection, enter-area detection and leave-area detection. Compatible IP cameras can also provide additional intelligent analytics through the recorder.

Dual-HDD Storage

Two SATA interfaces support surveillance hard drives with capacities up to 16TB per drive under Uniview's specified operating conditions. This provides up to 32TB of raw local storage capacity when two supported 16TB hard drives are installed.

Network and Remote Access

A Gigabit Ethernet interface provides network connectivity with up to 80Mbps incoming bandwidth and 160Mbps outgoing bandwidth. The recorder supports common network protocols including TCP/IP, HTTPS, DHCP, DNS, DDNS, NTP, UPnP and P2P, providing flexible local and remote surveillance access.
