The Unitek U1343AGY01 USB-C to 5Gbps Ethernet Adapter provides high-speed wired network connectivity for compatible USB-C laptops, tablets and other devices. Supporting Ethernet speeds up to 5Gbps while remaining backward compatible with 2.5Gbps, Gigabit and slower Ethernet networks, it is well suited to large file transfers, video conferencing, media streaming and other bandwidth-intensive applications. Up to 5Gbps Ethernet

The U1343A supports Ethernet speeds up to 5Gbps, providing up to five times the theoretical network bandwidth of conventional Gigabit Ethernet. This makes it suitable for demanding wired-network applications including large file transfers, network-attached storage access, high-resolution media streaming and video conferencing.

Multi-Gigabit Backward Compatibility

The RJ45 Ethernet interface supports 5Gbps, 2.5Gbps, 1Gbps, 100Mbps and 10Mbps network connections. This allows the adapter to operate with both high-speed multi-gigabit infrastructure and conventional Gigabit Ethernet networks.

Requirements for 5Gbps Performance

For maximum 5Gbps network performance, UNITEK recommends a CAT6A or higher-grade Ethernet cable together with a computer supporting a USB-C 10Gbps interface, including suitable Thunderbolt or USB4 connections. The connected router, switch or other network equipment must also support 5Gbps Ethernet. Actual network speed is limited by the slowest component in the connection.

Dual Network Status Indicators

Integrated LED indicators make it easy to monitor the wired connection at a glance. The green LED indicates an established network connection, while the yellow LED indicates active data transfer.
