Apple Find My Integration

The SolidForce enclosure integrates with Apple's Find My network, allowing it to be added as an item in the Find My app on a compatible Apple device. If the enclosure is misplaced, Find My can assist with locating it, while the built-in audible buzzer provides an additional way to find the device when it is nearby.

Smart Anti-Loss Protection

Bluetooth Low Energy 5.1 technology supports separation alerts and last-known location information, helping reduce the risk of accidentally leaving the enclosure behind. The tracking system is powered independently by a replaceable CR2032 battery with a manufacturer-rated operating life of up to one year.

10Gbps NVMe Performance

The USB-C interface supports data transfer rates up to 10 Gbps when used with compatible host equipment and an appropriate NVMe SSD. UASP acceleration and TRIM support help maintain efficient storage performance for transferring photographs, video, documents, backups and other large files.

Tool-Free SSD Installation

The enclosure supports tool-free installation of compatible M.2 NVMe SSDs. A supplied silicone thermal pad sits between the SSD and aluminium heat exchanger to assist with heat transfer, while the aluminium-alloy outer enclosure further supports heat dissipation during operation.

The enclosure is intended for compatible M.2 PCIe NVMe SSDs. SATA NGFF, mSATA and SSDs with pre-installed heatsinks are not supported. An M.2 SSD is not included.
