Dual PIR Motion Detection

The USL-Motion incorporates horizontal and vertical PIR sensors to provide flexible motion detection. The horizontal PIR sensor provides detection at distances of up to 1.5 metres, while the vertical PIR sensor extends detection to up to 6 metres and incorporates pet immunity.

Long-Range SuperLink Connectivity

Communication is handled through Ubiquiti's proprietary SuperLink technology. Ubiquiti specifies a maximum SuperLink communication range of up to 2 kilometres (1.2 miles), allowing compatible sensors to communicate with the required SuperLink infrastructure across large properties and deployments. Actual range depends on the installation environment.

Up to Six Years of Battery Life

The motion sensor operates from a 3V CR123A lithium battery and is rated for up to six years of battery life. Maximum device power consumption is only 22.6mW, helping reduce battery replacement requirements in long-term security installations.

Flexible Installation

Support for adhesive and screw mounting provides flexibility when positioning the sensor. Wall- and corner-mount configurations allow the sensor to be oriented according to the required detection area, while the compact enclosure keeps the installation discreet.

UniFi Protect Integration

The USL-Motion is designed for the UniFi Protect application suite. It can be managed through the UniFi Protect web application as well as the UniFi Protect applications for compatible iOS and Android devices.
