The Ubiquiti UniFi G6 Pro Entry UVC-G6-Pro-Entry is an intelligent professional door entry system combining high-resolution video surveillance, access control and two-way visitor communication in a single device. Native integration with UniFi Protect and UniFi Access enables the G6 Pro Entry to operate as both an advanced security camera and access reader, with a 12MP main camera optimised for full-person Face ID visibility, a dedicated 8MP package camera and a bright 3-inch capacitive touch display. Multiple authentication options including Face Unlock, NFC, PIN, QR code, Apple/Google Wallet and mobile credentials provide flexible access control, while Gigabit Ethernet, PoE+ power and IP55 weather protection simplify professional indoor and outdoor deployment.

12MP Camera Optimised for Door Entry

The G6 Pro Entry uses a 12MP CMOS main camera with a fixed focal-length lens and an unusually tall field of view designed specifically for entrance monitoring. At its maximum 12MP resolution, the camera captures 3024 × 4096 video in a 3:4 format with a 100° horizontal, 136.3° vertical and 176.4° diagonal field of view. This allows the camera to maintain greater full-person visibility than a conventional landscape-orientated security camera, supporting more effective Face ID and entrance monitoring.

Dedicated Package Camera

In addition to the primary camera, the G6 Pro Entry incorporates a dedicated 8MP package camera. This secondary camera captures 3264 × 2448 imagery with a 66° horizontal, 51.7° vertical and 78° diagonal field of view, providing additional visibility of deliveries and activity occurring close to the entrance.

Advanced UniFi Access Control

When integrated with a compatible UniFi Access Hub, the G6 Pro Entry supports multiple credential and authentication methods. Users can unlock compatible doors using Face Unlock, NFC cards or keyfobs, PIN codes, QR codes, Apple or Google Wallet credentials and supported mobile unlocking methods. UniFi Access provides centralised management of these credentials and door access permissions.

3-Inch Touch Display

A portrait-orientated 3-inch capacitive multi-touch display provides an interactive interface for visitors and authorised users. The screen offers a resolution of 480 × 854 and typical brightness of up to 1,000 nits, helping maintain visibility at entrances where ambient lighting can vary significantly.

Two-Way Intercom and Doorbell

Integrated two-way audio allows the G6 Pro Entry to function as an intelligent video intercom and doorbell. Visitors can communicate directly with authorised personnel while UniFi Protect provides integrated video monitoring and recording capabilities.

Smart Detection and Night Vision

UniFi Protect integration enables smart detection of people, vehicles and animals. Built-in infrared LED illumination and an IR cut filter provide night vision at distances up to 5 metres, allowing the entrance to remain monitored when visible ambient lighting is limited.

Professional PoE+ Installation

The G6 Pro Entry connects through a Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 interface and can be powered using PoE+, allowing network connectivity and power to be delivered through a single compatible Ethernet cable. Maximum power consumption is 18W, with a supported input range of 42–57V DC.

Important Access Requirements

To enable door access functionality such as NFC, Face ID and Interface Designer configuration, the G6 Pro Entry requires a compatible UniFi Access Hub. Both the UniFi Protect and UniFi Access applications must also be installed.
