25Gbps IDS/IPS Performance

The Dream Machine Beast is designed for extremely high-throughput secured networking. Ubiquiti rates the platform for up to 25Gbps IDS/IPS throughput, allowing intrusion detection and prevention functionality to remain active across high-bandwidth network connections.

Built for Large-Scale UniFi Deployments

The UDM-Beast supports more than 7,500 simultaneous connected clients and over 750 managed UniFi devices. It can also manage up to 200 UniFi Access Hubs, making it suitable for large campuses, enterprises and other high-density deployments requiring centralised UniFi management.

Full UniFi Application Platform

UniFi Network, Protect, Access, Talk and Connect can be hosted directly on the gateway. This consolidates network management, video surveillance, access control, communications and compatible UniFi applications onto a single high-performance platform.

25G and 10G Connectivity

High-bandwidth connectivity includes two 25G SFP28 ports, two 10G SFP+ ports and eight 10GbE RJ45 interfaces supporting 10G, 5G, 2.5G, 1G and 100Mbps operation. Two additional Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports are provided for standard wired connectivity.

Flexible Multi-WAN Architecture

The default WAN configuration provides one 25G SFP28 interface and one 10GbE RJ45 interface. The platform supports configuration of up to eight WAN connections, providing flexibility for multi-provider internet connectivity, redundancy and sophisticated enterprise routing deployments.

Expandable UniFi Protect Storage

An integrated 128GB SSD provides onboard system storage, while two 3.5-inch drive bays allow additional storage drives to be installed for UniFi Protect. The gateway can manage up to 100 HD cameras, 60 2K cameras or 40 4K cameras, depending on the surveillance configuration.

High-Availability Gateway Support

Shadow Mode with VRRP gateway failover allows compatible deployments to use redundant Dream Machine Beast gateways for increased network availability. DC power backup support provides an additional redundancy option when used with compatible Ubiquiti power infrastructure.

1U Enterprise Rackmount Design

The Dream Machine Beast fits into a standard 1U rack space and measures 442.4 × 43.7 × 325mm. Its rackmount form factor consolidates routing, security, application hosting and NVR functionality into a single platform for streamlined enterprise infrastructure deployments.
