48-Port Gigabit Connectivity
The SG3452 provides 48 auto-negotiating 10/100/1000Mbps RJ45 ports for connecting computers, servers, wireless access points and other Ethernet devices. Four additional Gigabit SFP slots provide fibre connectivity for network uplinks and longer-distance connections.
104Gbps Switching Performance
With 104Gbps of switching capacity and a packet forwarding rate of approximately 77.4Mpps, the SG3452 is designed to handle simultaneous traffic across its Gigabit interfaces efficiently. A 16K MAC address table, 12Mbit packet buffer and support for jumbo frames up to 9KB further enhance performance in demanding business networks.
Omada SDN Centralised Management
Integration with the Omada Software Defined Networking platform allows compatible access points, switches and gateways to be managed from a unified interface. Depending on the controller configuration, administrators can access centralised management, cloud access, intelligent monitoring, batch configuration and other network administration features.
Advanced L2+ and Layer 3 Features
The SG3452 provides extensive Layer 2 and Layer 3 functionality for scalable network deployments. Features include static routing, Link Aggregation, 802.3ad LACP, STP, RSTP, MSTP, loopback detection, VLAN functionality, multicast management and DHCP services.
Enterprise Network Security
Comprehensive security capabilities include Access Control Lists, IP-MAC-Port binding, Port Security, DHCP Snooping, 802.1X authentication, RADIUS, TACACS+, DoS defence and broadcast, multicast and unicast storm control. These features provide administrators with granular tools for controlling access and protecting network resources.
Traffic Prioritisation and Multicast
L2/L3/L4 Quality of Service functionality provides eight priority queues with 802.1p CoS and DSCP prioritisation. IGMP and MLD functionality helps optimise multicast traffic, making the switch suitable for networks carrying voice, video and other latency-sensitive applications.
Fanless Rack-Mountable Design
The SG3452 uses a fanless thermal design for silent operation, making it suitable for offices and other noise-sensitive installations. Its 440mm-wide metal chassis can be installed in a standard equipment rack using the supplied rackmount hardware.
