Features

OmniPoint 2.0 HyperMagnetic Switches

OmniPoint 2.0 switches use magnetic Hall Effect sensing for contactless key detection. Individual actuation points can be adjusted between 0.1mm and 4.0mm, allowing users to choose ultra-sensitive inputs for gaming or deeper actuation for deliberate typing.

Rapid Trigger

Rapid Trigger dynamically activates and resets keys according to their movement rather than relying on a fixed reset point. This allows supported keys to reset sooner for faster repeated inputs and more responsive directional changes.

2-in-1 Action Keys

Compatible keys can perform two different actions depending on how deeply they are pressed. For example, a light press can be assigned to walking while a deeper press activates sprinting using the same key.

Compact 60% Design

The 60% form factor removes the dedicated function row, navigation cluster and numeric keypad to maximise mouse space. Side-printed secondary functions retain access to many full-size keyboard commands without increasing the keyboard footprint.

Triple-Mode Connectivity

Quantum 2.0 2.4GHz wireless provides low-latency gaming performance, while Bluetooth 5.0 offers convenient wireless connectivity with compatible devices. The detachable USB-C cable can also be used for charging and wired operation.

Long-Lasting Rechargeable Battery

The integrated rechargeable battery provides up to approximately 30 hours of use over 2.4GHz wireless or up to 40 hours through Bluetooth with default lighting settings.

Premium Construction

A Series 5000 aircraft-grade aluminium alloy top plate provides structural rigidity, while durable double-shot PBT keycaps resist fading and offer a textured surface for improved key feel.

• SS-64842 is the US English keyboard layout.
• This model uses OmniPoint 2.0 switches rather than the newer OmniPoint 3.0 switches found on Gen 3 Apex Pro models.
• Battery life varies according to wireless mode, RGB brightness and usage conditions.
• Advanced actuation, RGB and key assignment features are configured through SteelSeries GG / Engine.
