The XGS 138 is a desktop version of the 2nd generation XGS series. It offers a significant increase in performance and a reduction in energy consumption compared to the previous generation.

The model has 2 SFP+ ports for high-speed fiber optic connections and 4 integrated Ethernet interfaces with 2.5 GE. In addition, the XGS 138 has an expansion slot that allows an optional 5G module to be connected. This module enables either redundant cellular connectivity or a cost-efficient 5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) solution. This ensures a flexible and fast network connection.

The XGS 138 is ideal for small offices, branch offices and retail stores that require a reliable and powerful network solution. Thanks to its optimized thermal design, the XGS 138 operates quietly and is therefore also suitable for noise-sensitive environments such as healthcare, education and retail.

The XGS 138 offers an optimized architecture with a dedicated Xstream flow processor for hardware acceleration and virtual FastPath technology to accelerate data traffic. The model is equipped with TLS inspection, deep packet inspection and application acceleration. This ensures comprehensive protection according to the "See it. Stop it. Secure it" approach, and encrypted data traffic is also efficiently inspected.
