Combining Snom HD audio with secure VoIP protocols and flexible headset connectivity, it supports professional voice communication without requiring a conventional desk phone, display or keypad.

The SP800 transfers voice processing away from the terminal server, helping organisations maintain clear audio while users control calls through a compatible soft client. This makes it a practical option for call centres, financial services, insurance operations, public-sector offices and other environments that use centrally managed desktop infrastructure.

The SP800 is equipped with audio capabilities based on the Snom D862 desk phone platform. Support for G.722 and Opus wideband codecs helps provide clear speech, while an adaptive jitter buffer, packet-loss concealment, voice activity detection and comfort-noise generation support consistent call quality across compatible networks.

Flexible Headset and Network Connectivity

Users can connect compatible USB headsets and accessories through the two USB 2.0 Type-A ports or use a supported wired headset through the 3.5 mm audio socket. Two Gigabit Ethernet ports provide connections for the network and a workstation, while IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet allows power and data to be delivered over the network connection.

A compatible headset or other audio accessory is required for calls and is available separately.

Secure, Centrally Managed Deployment

The Snom SP800 supports configuration through a password-protected web interface, automatic provisioning and Snom’s Secure Redirection and Provisioning Service. Support for TR-069, TR-369, OpenVPN, VLANs and diagnostic tools helps IT teams deploy, manage and troubleshoot terminals across business environments.

Integrated 3CX Session Border Controller functionality also allows the SP800 to be used as an SBC in a compatible 3CX deployment. Confirm system, PBX and accessory compatibility before installation.
