The Snom PA1+ SIP paging amplifier extends a compatible SIP telephone system with a practical solution for public announcements and background audio. It can automatically receive calls for live announcements, distribute audio using multicast paging and connect directly to an 8-ohm loudspeaker through its integrated 6.5-watt Class D amplifier. Its compact, robust housing is designed for indoor wall or ceiling installation in offices, corridors, reception areas and other shared spaces.

Flexible SIP Paging and Public Address

Users can place an announcement call to the PA1+ from a compatible SIP telephone, with automatic answering allowing the message to be delivered through the connected loudspeaker. Multicast paging makes it possible to distribute audio efficiently across multiple compatible endpoints, helping organisations establish broader announcement zones.

Integrated Amplifier and External PA Connectivity

The built-in 6.5-watt Class D amplifier supports a directly connected 8-ohm loudspeaker. For installations requiring additional amplification or a larger speaker system, the PA1+ also provides a 600-ohm line output for connection to compatible external audio equipment.

Simple Network Integration

Two Gigabit Ethernet ports provide network connectivity and an integrated switch for connecting another compatible network device. IEEE 802.3af Class 3 Power over Ethernet allows power and data to be supplied through the network connection, helping reduce cabling requirements. An optional 5V DC power adaptor can be used where PoE is unavailable.

Relay Control for Connected Systems

Configurable input and output connections can be controlled through SIP or DTMF commands. This enables the PA1+ to form part of a wider installation involving compatible equipment such as door-release mechanisms, signalling devices or other externally controlled systems.

A menu-driven web interface supports configuration and maintenance without requiring direct access to the installed unit. Automatic provisioning, secure provisioning certificates, TLS 1.2, SIPS and SRTP support help administrators integrate and manage the device within compatible business networks.
