Shelly LoRa Add-on 2-Pack
The Shelly LoRa Add-on 2-Pack extends compatible Shelly Gen3 and Gen4 devices with long-range, two-way LoRa radio communication. With two add-ons included, the pack provides the minimum hardware required to create transmitting and receiving points for applications such as remote equipment control, agricultural automation, outdoor lighting and distributed facilities.
Long-Range Communication
Each add-on can communicate over distances of up to 5 km when used with its external antenna under suitable conditions. Actual range depends on terrain, buildings, interference, antenna positioning and other local environmental factors.
Flexible Automation
The add-ons attach directly to the proprietary serial interface on selected Shelly Gen3 and Gen4 host devices. Custom scripting support allows compatible Shelly devices to exchange commands, status information and sensor data across locations where conventional short-range wireless connectivity may be impractical.
Secure Two-Way Connectivity
Shelly’s long-range protocol supports AES-CCM encryption together with unicast, multicast and broadcast addressing. This enables one-to-one, one-to-many and many-to-one communication configurations when all participating add-ons use matching LoRa settings.

Compatibility and Installation
Each LoRa Add-on requires a compatible Shelly Gen3 or Gen4 host device, which supplies power and manages its operation. The host device should run firmware version 1.6 or later. Installation must be completed with power disconnected and in accordance with the host device and add-on safety instructions.
