Instant Door and Window Detection

The Shelly BLU Door/Window Sensor detects changes in the position of a door or window and immediately broadcasts the open or closed state. With a response time of less than 100ms, it can quickly trigger compatible security, lighting and automation routines.

Tilt Angle Monitoring

An integrated G-sensor measures the inclination angle of compatible tilt-and-turn windows, allowing automations to distinguish between a closed, open or tilted window position.

Ambient Light Measurement

The integrated light sensor measures illumination levels, allowing the sensor to participate in lighting automations based on both door or window position and ambient brightness.

Long Battery Life

The sensor is powered by a single replaceable CR2032 battery and provides up to approximately five years of battery life under typical operating conditions, helping reduce maintenance requirements.

Compact and Discreet Installation

The main sensor measures just 35 x 35 x 7mm, while the accompanying magnet measures 35 x 12 x 7mm. Its slim profile allows installation on doors, windows, garage doors and other access points without adding bulky hardware.

Shelly Smart Automation

The sensor can be incorporated into Shelly scenes and automation routines, such as switching lights on when a door opens or turning heating and cooling systems off when a window is opened.

• A compatible gateway is required when using the Shelly Smart Control app.
