SA Filament SBS Filament 1Kg – Light Grey (SAF-SBS-B0302-LG) is a premium engineering-grade 3D printing filament designed for makers, engineers, and professionals who require strong, durable parts with a clean, professional finish. Manufactured in South Africa, SBS (Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene) combines the rigidity of polystyrene with the flexibility and toughness of butadiene rubber, making it ideal for functional prototypes, mechanical components, enclosures, jigs, fixtures, and end-use parts. It offers excellent impact resistance, strong layer adhesion, and a smooth, glossy surface finish while being easier to print than ABS with reduced warping and lower odour. The filament can also be chemically smoothed using acetone vapour or D-Limonene for a polished, injection-moulded appearance.
