The Owl Labs Meeting Owl Expansion Microphone extends the audio pickup range of compatible Meeting Owl conferencing systems for larger meeting rooms and longer conference tables. Featuring a sensitive directional microphone, integrated mute control and a 2.5m custom connection cable, it helps capture quieter or more distant voices while integrating directly with the Meeting Owl audio system.

Extended Meeting Room Audio Coverage

The Expansion Mic extends the Meeting Owl's audio pickup range by up to 2.5 metres in the direction of the microphone. When positioned correctly, this can increase total audio coverage to approximately 8 metres, making it particularly useful for longer tables and larger meeting spaces.

Focused Voice Pickup

A sensitive cardioid microphone focuses audio pickup in the direction of meeting participants, helping the Meeting Owl capture quieter voices and speakers positioned farther from the main conferencing device.

Integrated Audio Processing

The microphone works with the Meeting Owl audio system and supports Voice Equalisation, Echo Cancellation and Background Noise Reduction to help provide clearer and more consistent speech during hybrid meetings.

Convenient Mute Control

An integrated mute button provides additional audio control around the conference table. The button synchronises with the Meeting Owl so users positioned away from the main device can easily mute or unmute the meeting microphone system.

Simple Plug-and-Play Installation

The Expansion Mic connects directly to a compatible Meeting Owl using the included 2.5m custom cable and receives power from the Meeting Owl, eliminating the need for a separate power adapter.

Flexible Mounting

Included mounting hardware allows the microphone to be securely positioned on a conference table. Owl Labs recommends placing the Expansion Mic at least 1.5 metres away from the Meeting Owl and pointing it toward the people speaking.

• Compatible with Meeting Owl 3, Meeting Owl 4+ and Meeting Owl 5 Pro.
• Not compatible with Meeting Owl Pro or earlier Meeting Owl models.
• The included custom cable should not be replaced with a third-party extension cable.
