The OBSBOT Smart Remote Controller ORB-2205-CT provides convenient wireless control over compatible OBSBOT Tail cameras without requiring constant access to a computer or mobile application. Features

Precise PTZ Camera Control

The integrated joystick-style Gimbal Control provides direct pan, tilt and zoom control over a compatible OBSBOT camera. This gives operators a convenient physical control interface for following subjects, adjusting compositions and changing camera positions during live productions.

Motion-Based Gimbal Control

A built-in gyroscope provides an alternative way to control camera movement. When motion control is enabled, the connected camera's gimbal responds to movements of the user's wrist, providing an intuitive method of directing the camera during presentations and live productions.

Control up to Three Cameras

A single Smart Remote Controller can connect to and switch between up to three compatible OBSBOT cameras through Bluetooth. Dedicated camera selection buttons labelled 1, 2 and 3 make it easier to manage multi-camera livestreaming and production setups from one handheld controller.

Laser Close-up

The Laser Close-up function provides a quick way to direct a compatible Tail Air camera towards a specific area. Press the Laser Close-up button twice and point the laser at the required area, allowing the camera to automatically follow the indicated position and create a close-up view.

Dedicated AI Tracking Controls

Dedicated buttons provide quick access to supported AI tracking functions, including Human Tracking and Animal Tracking. This allows operators to activate tracking directly from the remote instead of navigating through software menus during a production.

Three Preset Positions

P1, P2 and P3 buttons provide convenient access to stored camera positions. Presets are particularly useful in livestreaming, presentations, worship environments and multi-person productions where the camera frequently needs to return to predefined views.

Zoom & Focus Controls

Dedicated telephoto and wide zoom controls allow the operator to adjust framing directly from the remote. The Focus / Camera control also provides convenient access to supported camera and focusing functions.

Remote Recording Control

A dedicated Record button allows compatible camera recording to be started and stopped remotely, helping operators manage a production without physically touching the camera.

Long-Range Bluetooth Connectivity

The controller communicates wirelessly through Bluetooth and provides a maximum stated operating range of up to 60 metres in an open, obstacle-free environment. This provides additional freedom for camera operators working in studios, halls, event spaces and other larger production environments.

USB-C Rechargeable Design

The Smart Remote Controller features a USB-C charging port and includes a USB-C to USB-A charging cable, allowing the internal rechargeable battery to be conveniently powered using a compatible USB power source.
