The Nikon MB-N12 Power Battery Pack (Z8) has the capacity to hold two EN-EL15-type batteries, providing approximately 1.8x longer battery life compared to a single in-camera battery. One battery can easily be swapped out for on-the-fly battery switching. Additionally, a USB-C port is included for connecting to an external power source, such as the EH-7p or EH-8p, for charging or tethering the camera to other equipment. Plus, the batteries can be charged within the grip, even when it is not attached to the camera.
