Large 50 mm Objective Lenses

The 50 mm objective lenses gather a substantial amount of light, supporting bright viewing in a range of outdoor conditions. Combined with the relatively modest 7x magnification, the optical system produces a large 7.1 mm exit pupil.

The ACTION 7x50 provides 19.6 mm of eye relief, giving users a comfortable distance between the eyepieces and their eyes while maintaining a clear field of view. Nikon specifically designed the fixed-magnification ACTION series, with the exception of the 16x50 model, with long eye relief to improve viewing comfort for users who wear glasses.

Turn-and-Slide Eyecups

Turn-and-slide rubber eyecups provide multiple click positions so users can adjust the distance between their eyes and the eyepieces. This helps users with or without eyeglasses position their eyes at the appropriate eyepoint for comfortable viewing.

Central Focusing System

A large central focusing wheel adjusts both optical channels simultaneously and provides convenient control when switching between subjects at different distances.

The minimum focusing distance is approximately 8 m, making the binoculars best suited to medium- and long-distance observation.

Durable Aluminium-Alloy Construction

The ACTION 7x50 uses an aluminium-alloy body to provide structural strength while maintaining a practical weight for portable outdoor use. Textured rubber armouring surrounds the body to improve grip and provide additional protection against everyday knocks and bumps.

Ergonomic Outdoor Design

Nikon redesigned the ACTION series with an emphasis on secure handling and comfortable operation. The contoured body, textured armour and prominent centre focusing wheel are intended to make the binoculars easy to hold and adjust during longer observation sessions.

Adjustable Interpupillary Distance

The distance between the eyepieces can be adjusted from approximately 56 to 72 mm. This allows users to align both optical channels with their eyes and obtain a comfortable single circular image.

Optional Tripod Mounting

The ACTION 7x50 can be mounted to a suitable tripod using an optional Nikon TRA-2 or TRA-3 tripod adapter. Tripod mounting can provide additional comfort and stability during extended observation sessions.

The tripod and tripod adapter are optional accessories and are not included with the standard binocular package.
