The Nikon ACTION 10x42 Binoculars are versatile Porro-prism binoculars designed for birdwatching, wildlife observation, hiking, outdoor activities and spectator sports. Combining 10x magnification with 42 mm objective lenses, Nikon multilayer-coated optics and a wide 61.4° apparent field of view, they provide bright, detailed views while making it easier to locate and follow distant subjects. A durable aluminium-alloy body, protective rubber armouring, long eye relief and adjustable turn-and-slide eyecups provide comfortable handling for extended outdoor observation.

Nikon Multilayer-Coated Optics

Nikon applies multilayer coatings to the optical surfaces to improve light transmission and reduce unwanted reflections. This helps produce bright, high-contrast images with clear detail and natural-looking colours across a variety of outdoor viewing conditions.

Traditional Porro Prism Design

Long Eye Relief

Multi-Click Turn-and-Slide Eyecups

Central Focusing System

The minimum focusing distance is approximately 5 m, allowing observation of relatively nearby subjects as well as distant scenery and wildlife.

Durable Aluminium-Alloy Construction

Nikon uses an aluminium-alloy body to provide structural strength while keeping the binoculars manageable for portable outdoor use. The exterior is covered with textured rubber armouring that improves grip while providing additional protection against everyday bumps and knocks.

Adjustable Interpupillary Distance

Optional Tripod Mounting

The ACTION 10x42 can be mounted to a compatible tripod using an optional Nikon TRA-2 or TRA-3 tripod adapter. Tripod mounting can provide additional stability during longer observation sessions or when viewing a fixed distant subject.
