The Nearity A31S is a versatile beamforming array microphone designed to improve voice capture in meeting rooms, training spaces and larger collaboration environments. Its eight-element MEMS microphone array combines adjustable audio coverage with intelligent processing to help remote participants hear conversations more clearly.

With support for suspended ceiling, desktop and wall installation, the A31S can be positioned to suit the room rather than restricting the furniture layout. USB connectivity, Power over Ethernet support and daisy-chain expansion provide practical integration options for professionally designed conferencing systems.

Intelligent Voice Capture

The A31S uses advanced audio processing to manage common meeting-room challenges such as background noise, room reverberation and acoustic echo. AI noise suppression, echo cancellation, automatic gain control and intelligent mixing work together to produce more consistent speech during remote meetings and collaborative sessions.

VoiceCAP Pro 3D Audio Coverage

Nearity’s VoiceCAP Pro 3D technology creates a defined audio capture space to help maintain stable voice pickup as participants move or change position. The adjustable pickup configuration allows the microphone coverage to be adapted to the shape and layout of the room.

Adjustable Pickup Patterns

Selectable pickup patterns allow the A31S to focus its coverage more precisely or operate with broad room coverage. Available configurations include 150° × 60°, 150° × 90°, 150° × 120° and 180° × 180°, providing flexibility for boardroom tables, classrooms, training spaces and open collaboration areas.

Natural Full-Duplex Conversations

Full-duplex audio allows people at both ends of a call to speak and be heard at the same time. This supports more natural discussions without requiring participants to wait for the other side to finish speaking.

Flexible Room Installation

The slim linear enclosure can be suspended from a ceiling, placed on a desktop or mounted on a wall. This flexibility helps keep meeting tables clear while allowing the microphone position and pickup angle to be selected according to the room’s acoustic requirements.

Expandable for Larger Spaces

For rooms that require wider coverage, up to eight compatible A31S microphones can be daisy-chained using Cat6 network cabling. PoE input and output connections help simplify compatible multi-device installations, while a dedicated DC power input is available where required by the system design.
