The MSI B550M PRO-VDH provides a practical foundation for a compact desktop built for work, everyday computing or gaming with compatible components. Combining the AMD B550 chipset with an AM4 socket, it offers four DDR4 memory slots, flexible storage options and PCIe 4.0 support with a suitable processor. Its micro-ATX format gives you room to expand without requiring a full-size ATX build.

Choose from supported AMD Ryzen 5000 Series, 4000 G-Series and 3000 Series desktop processors to match your computing needs. Four dual-channel DDR4 slots support up to 128 GB of memory, giving you flexibility for multitasking and memory-intensive applications. A-XMP supports memory overclocking up to 4400 MHz with a compatible configuration.
Storage Options for Today and Future Upgrades
Two M.2 slots and four SATA ports let you combine SSD storage with additional drives for applications, documents and media. The primary M.2 slot supports PCIe 4.0 x4 with a compatible processor, while the second supports PCIe 3.0 x4. MSI M.2 Shield Frozr helps manage SSD heat during sustained use.
Cooling and Power Design
MSI Core Boost, digital power control and a PCB with thickened 2 oz copper support the board’s power and thermal design. Dedicated CPU, water-pump and system-fan headers provide connection options for your chosen cooling setup.
