Dual-Band Wi-Fi 7

The hAP be lite brings Wi-Fi 7 connectivity to a compact MikroTik platform. Its dual-band wireless system supports modern 802.11be functionality on both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, providing improved wireless performance for compatible laptops, smartphones, tablets and other network devices.

Wi-Fi 7 Multi-Link Operation

Multi-Link Operation allows compatible Wi-Fi 7 devices to take advantage of multiple wireless links, helping provide smoother and more responsive connectivity in environments where many wireless devices compete for available airtime.

BE3600 Wireless Performance

The 2.4GHz radio supports a maximum data rate of 688Mbps with two wireless chains and 4.4dBi antenna gain. The 5GHz radio provides a maximum data rate of 2882Mbps with a triple-chain implementation and 7dBi antenna gain, giving the hAP be lite an overall BE3600 wireless speed classification.

2.5 Gigabit and Gigabit Ethernet

Wired connectivity consists of one 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet interface and three Gigabit Ethernet ports. The faster 2.5GbE connection can be used for high-speed uplinks, workstations, NAS systems or other bandwidth-intensive equipment, while the three Gigabit ports provide additional wired network connectivity.

Dual-Core ARM Processing

An AN7563PT dual-core ARM 32-bit processor operating at 950MHz powers the hAP be lite. It is paired with 512MB of RAM and 128MB of NAND storage, providing the hardware resources required to run RouterOS networking and management features.

RouterOS v7

RouterOS v7 provides substantially more control than a conventional basic home-router interface. Network administrators can configure VLANs, VPNs, traffic shaping, advanced firewall policies and automated scripts, allowing the hAP be lite to serve both straightforward home networks and more customised networking environments.

CAPsMAN Centralised Management

Support for MikroTik CAPsMAN enables compatible MikroTik wireless access points to be managed centrally. This makes the hAP be lite suitable not only as an individual router or access point, but also as part of a larger centrally administered MikroTik wireless network.

The hAP be lite uses a 5V USB-C power input, simplifying power connectivity and helping make the router easy to position in compact installations. Maximum power consumption is only 12W, and MikroTik includes a 5V 2.4A power adapter with the device.

Passive cooling eliminates the need for an internal cooling fan, providing silent operation with fewer moving components. The included base plate allows the compact enclosure to be positioned in different orientations according to the available installation space.
