Designed for GPEN Deployments

The netPower 15FR forms part of MikroTik's GPEN concept, providing an Ethernet-based alternative for delivering network connectivity to individual apartments and other distributed client locations. Its combination of copper access ports and fibre uplinks makes it particularly useful for ISP and multi-dwelling deployments.

15-Port Reverse PoE

The switch can receive passive PoE power through fifteen of its Ethernet ports, allowing power to be supplied from connected client locations rather than requiring a conventional mains power source at the switch installation point. Depending on the network configuration, the device can operate using power supplied from even a single client connection.

Passive PoE Output

Ether15 can provide passive PoE output using the same voltage applied to the switch, allowing a compatible PoE-powered device to receive power directly from the netPower 15FR. The available PoE output depends on the input voltage and power source used.

Dual Fibre Uplinks

Two 1G SFP interfaces provide fibre connectivity for linking the switch to upstream network infrastructure. This allows fibre to be used for the backbone while Ethernet connections are distributed to individual clients.

Outdoor-Ready Enclosure

The IP54-rated enclosure is designed for outdoor and demanding installation environments such as poles, utility areas, damp attics and elevator shafts. Passive cooling eliminates the need for internal cooling fans, while the device is tested for operation in ambient temperatures from -40°C to +70°C.
