The Mercusys Halo E85X is a dual-band AX3000 Wi-Fi 6 mesh system designed to provide fast, unified wireless coverage throughout larger homes. This two-unit pack offers manufacturer-rated coverage of up to 460m² and supports more than 150 connected devices, making it suitable for busy households with multiple computers, smart televisions, mobile devices and connected home products.

Dual-Band AX3000 Wi-Fi 6

The Halo E85X delivers combined theoretical wireless speeds of up to 3,000Mbps, comprising 2,402Mbps on the 5GHz band and 574Mbps on 2.4GHz. Wi-Fi 6 technologies including OFDMA, MU-MIMO, 1024-QAM and 160MHz channel bandwidth help improve network capacity and efficiency when used with compatible client devices.

One Unified Whole-Home Network

Both Halo units operate together under a single Wi-Fi name and password. Compatible phones, tablets and computers can automatically connect to the most appropriate Halo as users move around the home, reducing the need to switch manually between separate wireless networks.

Coverage for Larger Homes

The two-unit system provides manufacturer-rated wireless coverage of up to 460m², making it suitable for many three- to five-bedroom homes. Beamforming concentrates wireless signals towards connected devices, while self-healing technology automatically selects an available connection path between Halo units to help maintain network stability.

Multi-Gigabit Wired Connectivity

Each Halo E85X includes one 2.5Gbps port and two Gigabit Ethernet ports. All three ports automatically detect WAN or LAN operation, allowing compatible broadband connections, computers, televisions and game consoles to benefit from high-speed wired networking.

Wi-Fi 6 capacity allows the system to support more than 150 connected devices under suitable network conditions. This makes it practical for households running simultaneous video streams, online meetings, gaming sessions and smart-home equipment.

Easy Management with the Mercusys App

The Mercusys app guides users through initial setup and provides remote network management from compatible Android and iOS devices. Flexible Router and Access Point Modes

Router mode allows the Halo system to create and manage the home network directly, while Access Point mode adds mesh wireless coverage to an existing wired router. Optional Ethernet backhaul can also be used between units where suitable network cabling is available.
