Gateron Jupiter Banana Tactile Switches

This fully assembled Q6M-M4 configuration features pre-lubed Gateron Jupiter Banana mechanical switches. Their tactile design provides an early bump near the top of the keystroke for distinct feedback, while an integrated LED diffuser helps distribute the RGB backlighting. The switches use a 3-pin design and are rated for up to 80 million keystrokes.

2.4GHz, Bluetooth and Wired Connectivity

The Q6 Max provides flexible tri-mode connectivity for different working and gaming environments. Its 2.4 GHz wireless mode delivers a 1000 Hz polling rate, matching the polling rate available through the wired USB Type-C connection. Bluetooth 5.1 supports pairing with up to three devices for convenient switching between compatible computers, tablets and other devices.

Premium Full-Aluminium Construction

The Q6 Max features a substantial full-metal enclosure manufactured from 6063 aluminium using CNC machining and a multi-stage finishing process. A polycarbonate plate, double-gasket mounting system and multiple layers of acoustic material work together to refine typing feel and sound.

QMK/VIA Customisation

QMK/VIA support provides extensive control over the keyboard layout, allowing compatible keys and functions to be remapped and macros to be configured according to individual workflows. The programmable rotary knob can also be customised, while Keychron's Launcher web configurator provides another convenient way to configure supported keyboard functions.

Hot-Swappable Design

The hot-swappable PCB allows compatible mechanical switches to be replaced without soldering. It supports most 3-pin and 5-pin MX-style switches, including compatible options from Gateron, Cherry MX and Kailh, giving users the flexibility to change the keyboard's typing characteristics over time.

Long-Lasting Wireless Battery

A built-in 4000 mAh rechargeable Li-polymer battery provides up to 180 hours of wireless operation with the backlight switched off. Runtime is rated at up to 100 hours when using RGB lighting at its lowest brightness, with actual battery life varying according to operating conditions and usage.
