Master Headset for Non-Hub Solidcom Systems

The Solidcom C1 Pro master headset contains the wireless transceiver required to operate a non-hub Solidcom intercom system. Up to seven compatible remote headsets can be paired with the master, allowing an eight-person communication system to be created without requiring an external hub or individual bodypacks.

Remote headsets are not included with HOLSCC1PROSMH and must be purchased separately when expanding a system. The master headset is intended for non-hub configurations and cannot operate as a remote headset connected to a Solidcom C1 Pro hub.

Dual-Microphone Environmental Noise Cancellation

The C1 Pro uses a dual-microphone Environmental Noise Cancellation system to help improve speech intelligibility in noisy production environments. A directional main microphone captures the user's speech while a secondary omnidirectional microphone monitors surrounding environmental noise. The system processes these signals to reduce unwanted background sound before the user's voice reaches other members of the intercom system.

Full-Duplex Hands-Free Communication

Full-duplex operation allows every connected user to speak and listen at the same time. This creates a more natural conversation than traditional two-way radio systems where users have to wait for another person to finish speaking before responding.

The true-wireless design integrates the transceiver, controls, microphone, speaker and battery directly into the headset, removing the need for separate belt packs and helping production crews move more freely.

Up to 350 m Wireless Range

The transceiver built into the master headset provides a specified line-of-sight communication range of up to 350 m. This makes the system suitable for large venues, film sets, live performances, houses of worship, television production and other environments where crew members need to communicate over substantial distances.

Actual operating range can vary according to physical obstructions, radio-frequency interference, environmental conditions and applicable regional frequency regulations.

DECT 6.0 Wireless Technology

The Solidcom C1 Pro uses DECT 6.0 technology in the 1.9 GHz frequency spectrum to provide stable wireless communication with reduced interference from many common Wi-Fi and Bluetooth devices. Hollyland also employs communication encryption to help prevent unauthorised users from listening to conversations.

For South Africa, Hollyland specifies an operating frequency range of 1880–1900 MHz with 10 available channels.

150 Hz to 7 kHz Wideband Audio

The headset provides a wideband frequency response of 150 Hz to 7 kHz to support clear speech reproduction. Acoustic Echo Cancellation is also incorporated into the Solidcom C1 Pro platform to help minimise unwanted echo and improve communication clarity during production.

TALK, MUTE and Push-to-Talk Controls

The headset provides several ways to manage communication. Users can press the TALK/MUTE button to change communication status, use the microphone boom to quickly mute or unmute the headset, or use Push-to-Talk functionality when momentary communication is preferred.

Single-Ear Mono Headset Design

The single-ear design keeps one ear available to hear activity in the surrounding production environment while the other ear receives intercom communication. This can be particularly useful for camera crews, stage personnel and event teams that need to remain aware of both intercom instructions and nearby activity.

The microphone boom can be positioned to suit the user's preferred wearing orientation, while interchangeable over-ear leather and on-ear foam cushions provide different comfort options.

Replaceable Rechargeable Battery

The master headset uses a removable 700 mAh, 2.66 Wh rechargeable lithium battery. Operating time varies according to the number of remote headsets connected to the master. Hollyland specifies approximately 6 hours of operation when communicating with three remote headsets, more than 5 hours with five remote headsets and more than 4 hours with seven remote headsets when ENC is enabled.

Two batteries are supplied with the headset, allowing one battery to be replaced while the other is being charged. A battery requires approximately 2.5 hours for a complete recharge when used with a compatible Solidcom charging solution.
