Four-Person Full-Duplex Communication

The Solidcom C1 Pro-4S package is configured for four users and includes one master headset together with three remote headsets. Full-duplex communication allows all connected team members to talk and listen at the same time, creating a more natural conversation flow than push-to-talk-only radio systems.

The master headset contains the system's main wireless transceiver, so this 4S configuration does not require a separate hub or bodypack for normal operation.

Dual-Microphone Environmental Noise Cancellation

The Solidcom C1 Pro uses dual-microphone Environmental Noise Cancellation technology to improve speech clarity in noisy surroundings. A directional main microphone focuses on the user's voice, while a secondary omnidirectional microphone collects surrounding environmental noise. Hollyland's ENC processing then reduces unwanted background sound before the voice is transmitted to other users.

Hollyland specifies approximately 20 dB ±2 dB of environmental noise cancellation. This makes the system particularly useful for film sets, live events, production venues and other locations where machinery, crowds or general background noise can interfere with crew communication.

TALK, MUTE and Push-to-Talk Control

Users can switch between TALK and MUTE modes by pressing the TALK/MUTE button or by rotating the microphone boom. The Push-to-Talk function can also be used by holding the TALK/MUTE button while speaking and releasing it to return to mute mode.

This gives operators the flexibility of continuous full-duplex communication together with a more traditional push-to-talk workflow when required.

Rechargeable and Replaceable Batteries

Each headset uses a removable 700 mAh lithium battery rated at 2.66 Wh. Remote headsets provide more than 10 hours of operating time with ENC enabled, while the master headset provides approximately 6 hours when connected to the three remote headsets supplied in this 4S configuration.

Each headset is supplied with an additional battery, giving the complete four-headset package a total of eight batteries. Batteries can therefore be swapped during use while depleted batteries are recharged, helping minimise downtime during long production days. Charging takes approximately 2.5 hours.

Lightweight and Comfortable Headset Design

Each wireless headset weighs approximately 170 g including its battery and is manufactured using PC-ABS material. Both over-ear leather cushions and on-ear foam cushions are supplied, allowing users to select the wearing style that best suits their comfort requirements and working environment.

The microphone boom can also be positioned for convenient operation, while the single-ear design helps users remain aware of activity taking place around them.

Ready to Use Out of the Box

The Solidcom C1 Pro system is designed for straightforward setup. The supplied master and remote headsets can communicate without requiring an external hub, bodypacks or extensive cabling, making the system suitable for mobile crews and rapidly changing production environments.

The non-hub 4S version operates as one communication group. Advanced features such as A/B group separation and the hub's ANNOUNCE function require a compatible Solidcom C1 Pro hub-based configuration.

Expandable and Backward Compatible

The Solidcom C1 Pro master headset can support additional compatible remote headsets, allowing a non-hub system to be expanded for larger crews.
