The Hollyland Cosmo C2 is a professional wireless video transmission system designed for studio, live production and field-monitoring workflows. This one-transmitter and one-receiver kit supports video resolutions up to 1080p60, HDMI and 3G-SDI connectivity, and line-of-sight transmission over distances of up to approximately 914 metres. HEVO 2.0 technology and multiple streaming options provide production teams with a flexible way to monitor, distribute and stream video without running long signal cables.

Reliable Long-Range Video Transmission

The Cosmo C2 can transmit video at resolutions up to 1080p60 across a line-of-sight distance of up to 3,000 feet, or approximately 914 metres. With latency as low as 33 ms under suitable operating conditions, it is designed to support responsive monitoring during live events, studio productions and location shoots.

HEVO 2.0 Frequency-Hopping Technology

Hollyland’s HEVO 2.0 wireless transmission technology monitors the surrounding 5 GHz spectrum and can switch to a cleaner channel when interference is detected. This helps maintain a consistent video link in production environments where several wireless devices may be operating at the same time.

Flexible HDMI and SDI Connectivity

The transmitter provides HDMI 1.4b and 3G-SDI inputs together with a 3G-SDI loop output. The receiver offers two HDMI outputs and two 3G-SDI outputs, allowing the received signal to be distributed to multiple compatible monitors, recorders, switchers or other production devices.

Streaming and Network Integration

USB-C OTG connectivity supports UVC operation with a compatible computer, while RTMP support provides an option for online live-streaming workflows. The receiver also features a 100 Mbps RJ45 Ethernet port and supports NDI|HX for integration with compatible IP-based production systems.

Frame-Rate Processing

The built-in FPS Booster can convert selected lower-frame-rate inputs, including 1080p24, 1080p25 and 1080p30, to higher-frame-rate outputs up to 1080p60. Support for common fractional frame rates such as 23.98, 29.97 and 59.94 fps helps the system fit into a wider range of professional video workflows.

Practical Power Options

Both units can be powered through their 6–16 V DC inputs. The transmitter also supports an NP-F/L-series battery, while the receiver incorporates a V-Mount battery plate, giving crews a choice between mains and battery power when working in the studio or on location.
