The Hikvision DS-7732NI-M4 is a 32-channel M Series network video recorder designed for medium to large IP surveillance installations. It supports camera resolutions up to 32 MP, an incoming bandwidth of up to 320 Mbps, 8K HDMI output and four internal SATA drives for high-capacity recording.

32-Channel IP Camera Management

The recorder can connect up to 32 IP cameras through its network interfaces. Support for ONVIF and RTSP provides integration options for compatible Hikvision and third-party network cameras, while two Gigabit Ethernet ports allow the recorder to be connected to suitable surveillance network infrastructure.

8K Display Output

HDMI 1 supports display resolutions up to 8K at 30 Hz, while the second HDMI output supports resolutions up to 4K at 60 Hz. Independent video-output options allow live views, playback and monitoring layouts to be displayed across compatible screens.

High-Resolution Recording

The DS-7732NI-M4 supports recording resolutions from standard-definition formats through to 32 MP. When Ultra HD mode is enabled, up to eight 32 MP or 24 MP IP video inputs are supported, subject to the configured streams, frame rates and available bandwidth.

Support for H.265+, H.265, H.264+ and H.264 allows the recorder to work with a range of compatible camera streams. H.265+ can help reduce storage and network-bandwidth requirements compared with older compression formats, depending on the scene and camera configuration.

Four SATA interfaces support compatible surveillance hard drives with a capacity of up to 16 TB each. This provides a maximum raw internal capacity of up to 64 TB, while an eSATA connection is available for compatible external storage equipment.

Smart Event and POS Support

The recorder supports Video Content Analytics events received from compatible cameras, including motion detection, line crossing and intrusion detection. Compatible camera functions such as ANPR, heat maps and people counting can also be configured, while POS data can be overlaid on live video and recordings for supported retail applications.

When HDMI 1 is configured for 8K output, the maximum HDMI 2 resolution is limited to 1080p. An appropriate 8K display and cable are required to use the maximum output resolution.
