Features

8MP Ultra HD 4K Imaging

The Hikvision DS-2CD2686G2HT-IZS captures detailed surveillance footage at resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 pixels. Its 8MP sensor provides high-resolution imaging for monitoring entrances, building exteriors, parking areas and commercial premises.

Powered-by-DarkFighter Technology

Hikvision's Powered-by-DarkFighter imaging technology enhances performance in low-light environments. With colour sensitivity down to 0.0008 lux at F1.2, the camera can capture detailed images under challenging lighting conditions, helping maintain visibility after dark.

Motorised 2.8-12mm Vari-focal Lens

The adjustable 2.8-12mm motorised lens allows the viewing angle to be configured remotely. A wider setting provides broader scene coverage, while a narrower setting increases detail on more distant subjects. This flexibility simplifies installation and surveillance positioning.

Wide Viewing Angle

The lens provides a horizontal field of view ranging from 112.3° at the wide setting to 41.2° at the telephoto setting. This allows the camera to accommodate different surveillance requirements without physically replacing the lens.

60m Infrared Night Vision

Integrated infrared illumination provides night-time visibility at distances up to 60m under suitable conditions. Smart IR technology helps manage illumination intensity to reduce overexposure when subjects move closer to the camera.

120dB Wide Dynamic Range

True 120dB Wide Dynamic Range helps preserve image detail in scenes containing bright and dark areas. This is particularly useful when monitoring entrances, windows and outdoor locations exposed to changing sunlight.

Hikvision AcuSense Detection

Powered by deep learning algorithms, Hikvision AcuSense technology distinguishes human and vehicle targets from other movement. This improves event classification and helps reduce unnecessary alarms caused by environmental activity.

Intelligent Perimeter Protection

The camera supports line crossing, intrusion, region entrance and region exiting detection. These smart events can be configured to trigger notifications or recording actions when specified human or vehicle activity is detected.

Face Capture Functionality

Face capture functionality enables the camera to capture facial images in supported surveillance scenarios. Results depend on camera positioning, lighting, subject distance and image quality.

Efficient H.265+ Video Compression

Hikvision H.265+ compression technology helps reduce video bandwidth and storage requirements while maintaining suitable image quality. Additional H.265, H.264 and H.264+ compression options provide flexible compatibility with supported recording systems.

Flexible Network Storage

The camera features a built-in memory card slot supporting microSD, microSDHC and microSDXC cards up to 512GB. It also supports compatible network storage solutions for centralised recording and video management.

PoE Network Connectivity

IEEE 802.3at Power over Ethernet support allows the camera to receive power and network data through a compatible Ethernet connection. An alternative 12V DC power input is available for installations using a separate power supply.

Audio and Alarm Integration

Dedicated audio input and output connections support integration with compatible external audio equipment. One alarm input and one alarm output provide additional options for connecting supported security and alarm devices.

IP67 Weather Protection

The IP67-rated enclosure provides protection against dust and water ingress, making the camera suitable for correctly installed outdoor surveillance applications.

IK10 Vandal Resistance

The camera's IK10 impact-resistance rating provides additional protection against physical impacts. Its metal housing and bracket support installation in demanding commercial and industrial security environments.

Hikvision Network Integration

Support for ONVIF Profiles S, G and T, along with Hikvision's ISAPI and SDK interfaces, provides integration options with compatible network video recorders and video management platforms.
