The Hikvision DS-2DE4A425IWG1-E is a 4MP 25× Powered by DarkFighter IR AcuSense Network Speed Dome designed for intelligent surveillance across large indoor and outdoor areas. Its 1/2.8-inch Progressive Scan CMOS sensor captures detailed video at up to 2560 × 1440 resolution, while the 4.8–120mm motorized zoom lens provides powerful 25× optical magnification for inspecting distant subjects. Powered-by-DarkFighter low-light technology, up to 50m infrared illumination, 120dB WDR, AcuSense human and vehicle classification and advanced high-speed PTZ functionality make it well suited to roads, parks, stations, transport facilities, public spaces and other expansive surveillance environments.

The DS-2DE4A425IWG1-E uses a 1/2.8-inch Progressive Scan CMOS sensor to capture video at resolutions up to 2560 × 1440. High frame-rate capability provides smooth reproduction of moving subjects, making the camera suitable for large public spaces, transport infrastructure, roads and other environments with frequent movement.

Powerful 25× Optical Zoom

A 4.8–120mm motorized zoom lens provides 25× optical magnification, allowing the camera to move between general situational awareness and detailed inspection of distant subjects. The horizontal field of view ranges from 53.3° at wide angle to a focused 2.6° at maximum telephoto, while 16× digital zoom provides additional electronic magnification.

Powered-by-DarkFighter with 50m IR

Powered-by-DarkFighter technology enhances surveillance performance under challenging low-light conditions. Minimum illumination reaches 0.005 lux in colour and 0.001 lux in black and white, while integrated 850nm infrared illumination enables monitoring at 0 lux over distances of up to 50 metres.

AcuSense and Smart Tracking

Deep-learning AcuSense technology focuses intelligent detection on human and vehicle targets, helping reduce events caused by irrelevant movement. Manual and automatic smart tracking allow the PTZ camera to follow relevant targets as they move through the monitored area.

Advanced PTZ Control

The PTZ mechanism provides 360° pan coverage and a tilt range from -5° to 90°. The camera supports 300 preset positions, eight patrols with up to 32 presets per patrol and four programmable pattern scans, together with 3D positioning, proportional pan, scheduled tasks, park actions and power-off memory.

Advanced Video Analytics

In addition to human and vehicle classification, the DS-2DE4A425IWG1-E supports face capture with simultaneous detection of up to five faces. Regional people-counting functions support up to eight detection regions and can be configured for people-density monitoring, people-number exceptions and waiting-time exceptions.
