The Hikvision iDS-7104HQHI-M1/S(C) is a compact 4-channel 1080p Mini 1U AcuSense DVR designed for intelligent video surveillance installations. AcuSense Motion Detection 2.0

The iDS-7104HQHI-M1/S(C) incorporates Hikvision AcuSense intelligence with deep-learning-based Motion Detection 2.0. The DVR can classify human and vehicle targets, helping surveillance systems focus on relevant movement rather than treating every detected motion event equally.

Deep-Learning Perimeter Protection

In addition to Motion Detection 2.0, the recorder supports deep-learning-based perimeter protection. This provides intelligent event analysis for compatible surveillance configurations and helps improve the efficiency of security monitoring and recorded-event searches.

Hybrid Camera Compatibility

The DVR supports HDTVI, AHD, CVI and conventional CVBS analogue video sources as well as IP cameras. This hybrid architecture provides flexibility when upgrading an existing coaxial surveillance installation or combining analogue and network cameras in a single recording system.

Up to 6 IP Camera Inputs

Although the recorder is based around four analogue video channels, Hikvision specifies support for up to six IP camera inputs, with compatible IP cameras supported at resolutions up to 6MP. This provides additional flexibility when expanding a surveillance system with network cameras.

Efficient H.265 Pro+ Compression

H.265 Pro+ compression can be enabled to improve encoding efficiency and reduce video-storage requirements. The recorder also supports H.265 Pro and H.265 compression, allowing efficient use of available hard-drive capacity and network bandwidth.

The iDS-7104HQHI-M1/S(C) provides one internal SATA interface supporting a hard drive with a capacity of up to 10TB. This allows recording capacity to be selected according to camera count, recording schedule, resolution and retention requirements.

Network and Remote Access

A 10/100Mbps RJ45 Ethernet interface provides wired network connectivity, with total network bandwidth rated at 72Mbps and support for up to 32 remote connections. Hik-Connect and DDNS are supported for convenient network management, while a compatible Wi-Fi dongle can be connected through USB when wireless network access is required.
