The Hikvision HM-TD2638-4/G1/T3Y is an anti-corrosion bi-spectrum network bullet camera combining 384 × 288 thermal imaging with a high-resolution 4MP optical camera for advanced perimeter protection, temperature monitoring and fire-prevention applications. 384 × 288 High-Sensitivity Thermal Imaging

The thermal channel uses a vanadium oxide uncooled focal plane array with 384 × 288 resolution, 12μm pixel pitch and thermal sensitivity of ≤20mK at 25°C, F1.0. This enables the camera to detect small differences in thermal energy while providing dependable monitoring where visible-light surveillance may be affected by darkness or difficult environmental conditions.

Wide-Angle 4.4mm Thermal Lens

This specific HM-TD2638-4/G1/T3Y configuration features a 4.4mm thermal lens with an approximately 60.2° horizontal and 40.6° vertical field of view. The wide thermal coverage makes this variant particularly suitable for monitoring larger areas where broad scene visibility is more important than the narrower, longer-range view provided by higher focal-length versions.

4MP Optical Imaging with 30m IR

The optical channel incorporates a 1/2.7-inch Progressive Scan CMOS sensor providing up to 2688 × 1520 resolution. Its 2.2mm fixed lens provides an approximately 109.8° horizontal field of view, while integrated infrared illumination supports optical monitoring at distances of up to 30 metres in darkness.

GUANLAN AI Perimeter Protection

Hikvision's GUANLAN Large-Scale AI Model enhances human and vehicle detection while helping reduce false alarms. Intelligent perimeter functions include line crossing, intrusion, region entrance and region exit detection, with VCA ranges of up to approximately 52 metres for humans and 120 metres for vehicles.

Temperature, Fire and Smoking Detection

The HM-TD2638-4/G1/T3Y supports temperature measurement from -20°C to +150°C with specified accuracy of ±8°C. Temperature exception alarms can provide early warning of abnormal conditions, while dedicated fire and smoking detection algorithms add additional capabilities for industrial, infrastructure and fire-prevention applications.

Anti-Corrosion Outdoor Construction

NEMA 4X anti-corrosion protection makes the camera suitable for demanding environments requiring enhanced resistance to corrosion. IP67 weather protection and IK10 vandal resistance further protect the unit during exposed outdoor installations.
