The Fanvil LINKVIL W712 is a compact Radio over IP gateway designed to connect analogue and DMR II digital two-way radios with SIP communication devices. Its integrated UHF radio and SIP modules help organisations bring existing radio and IP-based voice systems together without replacing their established communication equipment.

Suitable for security operations, industrial parks, warehouses, hospitality environments, retail facilities and campuses, the W712 provides a practical link between mobile radio users and SIP-based control or management centres.

Connect Radio and SIP Communications

The W712 integrates a UHF 400–470 MHz radio module and supports standard SIP protocols, allowing compatible analogue or DMR II radios to communicate with SIP phones and other SIP communication devices. It supports one radio connection and one SIP call connection, together with two SIP lines.

Compatibility with mainstream analogue and digital radio equipment, including supported Motorola and Hytera models, makes the gateway suitable for integrating different communication systems. Radio compatibility and configuration should be confirmed for the specific radio model before deployment.

Clear Audio for Operational Communication

Support for the G.722 and Opus wideband codecs provides HD audio for compatible SIP communications. Voice activity detection and noise reduction help maintain clear voice transmission in operational environments, while a selection of narrowband codecs supports integration with established voice systems.

Call Recording and Local Storage

Calls involving SIP phones and two-way radios can be recorded to compatible local storage. The W712 provides a USB 2.0 Type-A interface and a TF card slot supporting cards with capacities of up to 128 GB. These interfaces can also be used for supported software upgrades and data storage.

Flexible Deployment and Management

Two 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports provide separate WAN and LAN connections, while the WAN port supports IEEE 802.3at PoE. The gateway can alternatively be powered through its 12 V DC input. Web-based configuration, firmware upgrades, configuration import and export, packet capture and system logging help administrators deploy and maintain the device.

Its compact enclosure can be installed on a desktop or mounted on a wall, providing flexible placement in control rooms, security offices and other communications environments.
