True 4K Outdoor Surveillance

The SoloCam E42 captures video at true 4K Ultra HD resolution using an 8MP imaging system, providing the detail needed for monitoring entrances, driveways and other outdoor areas. Eufy states that the camera can recognise licence plates from distances up to approximately 10 metres under suitable viewing conditions.

355° Pan and 70° Tilt

Motorised pan-and-tilt movement enables the SoloCam E42 to cover a significantly wider area than a fixed-position outdoor camera. It provides 355° horizontal rotation and 70° vertical movement together with a 110° lens field of view, helping minimise blind spots around the monitored property.

AI Motion Detection and Auto Tracking

Built-in AI enables the camera to detect and automatically track people, vehicles and supported important events within its field of view. Rather than remaining fixed in one direction, the motorised camera can follow detected movement to help maintain visibility of relevant activity.

HomeBase Compatibility

The camera can operate with compatible eufy HomeBase systems, including HomeBase S380 and HomeBase S280. Connecting to HomeBase S380 provides access to additional AI-enhanced functionality and expandable local storage of up to 16TB, while HomeBase S280 can be used for compatible centralised camera management.
