4096 Levels of Pressure Sensitivity

The espresso Pen recognises 4096 pressure levels, allowing line weight and input to respond to how firmly the pen is pressed against the display. This provides greater control when handwriting, drawing, annotating documents or creating sketches.

Natural Writing and Drawing

Support for Microsoft Pen Protocol 2.0, pressure sensitivity and tilt detection provides responsive pen input for compatible applications. The espresso Pen is designed for note-taking, markups, whiteboarding, sketching and other everyday creative tasks.

Tilt Sensitivity

Tilt detection allows compatible applications to recognise changes in the angle of the pen, helping provide more natural strokes when drawing and sketching.

Palm Rejection

Palm rejection allows users to rest their hand more naturally on a compatible espresso touchscreen while writing or drawing, helping reduce unwanted touch inputs during pen use.

5mm Hover Detection

The pen can be detected while positioned up to approximately 5mm above the display surface, allowing compatible systems and applications to recognise the stylus before it makes contact with the screen.

Integrated Tail Eraser

An integrated eraser at the rear of the pen provides a convenient way to remove handwritten or drawn content in compatible applications without having to manually select an eraser tool on screen.

Replaceable Pen Tip

The espresso Pen features a replaceable tip to help extend its usable life. A replacement tip is supplied in the package for convenient future maintenance.

USB-C Rechargeable Battery

A built-in 3.7V 65mAh rechargeable battery powers the espresso Pen. Charging is handled through USB-C, with a typical full recharge taking approximately 50 minutes and espresso quoting around 100 hours of use from a charge.

Lightweight Portable Design

At approximately 156.5mm long and weighing only 14g including the battery, the espresso Pen is lightweight enough for extended writing and drawing sessions while remaining easy to carry as part of a portable espresso Display setup.
