The Dell PowerEdge R770 is a powerful 2U, two-socket rack server designed for demanding virtualisation, database, analytics and mixed enterprise workloads. This Smart Selection configuration includes two Intel Xeon 6 Performance 6507P processors, 64 GB of ECC DDR5 registered memory and a 480 GB enterprise SATA solid-state drive.

Dual Intel Xeon 6 Processing
Two Intel Xeon 6 Performance 6507P processors provide a combined 16 cores and 32 threads. Each processor operates at a 3.5 GHz base frequency, reaches up to 4.3 GHz with Intel Turbo Boost Technology and includes 48 MB cache. The dual-processor configuration is well suited to consolidated applications, virtual machines and performance-sensitive business workloads.
Enterprise Memory and Storage
The system includes 64 GB of 6400 MHz ECC DDR5 registered memory configured as two 32 GB dual-rank RDIMMs. A 480 GB 6Gbps SATA read-intensive SSD provides reliable hot-plug storage, while the 8-bay 2.5-inch chassis and Dell PERC H965i controller support future SAS4 or SATA storage expansion.
Secure Remote Management
iDRAC10 Enterprise provides secure out-of-band monitoring, deployment and lifecycle management. The configuration also includes Secured Component Verification, Secure Enterprise Key Manager licensing, Dell Connectivity Client and Dell Connectivity Module support.
High-Speed Network Connectivity
An Intel Ethernet E610-XAT2 dual-port 10GbE BASE-T OCP 3.0 adapter provides high-bandwidth network connectivity for virtualisation, application traffic and storage networking. A separate dedicated BMC Ethernet connection supports remote management through iDRAC.
