This Smart Selection configuration is powered by a 5th Generation Intel Xeon Silver 4510 processor, 32 GB of ECC DDR5 registered memory and a 2.4 TB enterprise SAS hard drive.

With a 12-bay 3.5-inch chassis, PERC H755 hardware RAID controller, six integrated 1GbE network ports and iDRAC9 Enterprise remote management, the PowerEdge R760xs is well suited to virtualisation, software-defined storage, medium-density virtual machine environments and general business applications.

Balanced Compute for Popular Applications

The Intel Xeon Silver 4510 processor provides 12 cores, 24 threads, a 2.4 GHz base frequency and 30 MB cache. Hyper-Threading and Intel Turbo Boost Technology help the server respond efficiently to changing workload demands, while the single-processor configuration leaves the platform focused on cost-effective, right-sized deployment.

Enterprise Storage and RAID

The system includes a 2.4 TB 10K RPM 12Gbps SAS hot-plug hard drive installed in a hybrid 3.5-inch carrier. A Dell PERC H755 low-profile controller provides enterprise hardware RAID capability, while the 12-bay 3.5-inch chassis supports future storage expansion within the selected backplane configuration.

Integrated Management and Security

iDRAC9 Enterprise enables secure remote monitoring, deployment and lifecycle administration. The system also includes TPM 2.0, UEFI Secure Boot support, Silicon Root of Trust and cryptographically signed firmware capabilities to help protect the server throughout its operational lifecycle.

Network Connectivity

A Broadcom 5720 dual-port 1GbE onboard adapter and Broadcom 5719 quad-port 1GbE PCIe adapter provide a total of six 1GbE BASE-T network ports. A dedicated iDRAC management connection allows server administration traffic to remain separate from production network traffic.
