Dell’s base warranty covers repair or replacement for manufacturing defects only and does not include support for software-related issues. Basic service provides telephone (online chat (where available) and e-mail) hardware troubleshooting during local business hours, excluding local national holidays. During the telephone-based troubleshooting, the Dell Technician will determine if an onsite service technician is required.
