The DeepCool ASSASSIN VC ELITE WH is a dual-tower CPU air cooler designed for powerful Intel and AMD desktop processors. A vapour-chamber-enhanced base, seven 6mm heat pipes and two fin-stack towers work together to distribute heat across a large cooling surface. Supplied with 140mm and 120mm PWM fans, it offers selectable Performance and Quiet operating modes to suit demanding workloads or noise-conscious systems.

Vapour-chamber-enhanced Base

The cooler’s cold plate incorporates a planar vapour chamber that helps spread heat across the base before transferring it into the seven heat pipes. This design distributes heat through both fin-stack towers and provides a manufacturer-rated cooling capacity of up to 300W TDP under suitable operating conditions.

Dual-tower Heat Dissipation

Seven 6mm heat pipes carry thermal energy from the vapour chamber into two white-coated fin arrays. The large dissipation surface allows the included fans to move air through the heatsink while maintaining a choice between stronger cooling performance and lower operating noise.

Performance and Quiet Modes

An integrated mode selector allows the cooler to operate in either Performance or Quiet mode. Performance mode raises the available fan speeds and airflow for demanding processor workloads, while Quiet mode limits fan speed to reduce overall acoustic output during lighter use.

In Performance mode, overall noise is rated at up to 29.3dB(A). Quiet mode lowers the rated overall noise to no more than 22.6dB(A), giving users a straightforward way to balance cooling requirements and system noise.

140mm and 120mm PWM Fans

A 140mm fan is positioned between the two heatsink towers, while a relocatable 120mm fan is installed at the rear. Both use fluid dynamic bearings and four-pin PWM connections, allowing compatible motherboards to adjust their speed according to processor temperature.

The central 140mm fan sits low between the fin towers, directing part of its airflow towards surrounding motherboard voltage-regulation components. An additional adjustable bracket is included for builders who want to install an optional third compatible fan.

Designed for Memory Clearance

The relocatable 120mm fan frame offers two mounting heights to accommodate different motherboard and memory layouts. DeepCool states unobstructed memory clearance on supported AMD AM4 and AM5 systems and supported mainstream Intel sockets. Intel LGA20XX installations support memory modules up to 63mm high.

Simplified Installation

The cooler includes mounting hardware for current and selected previous-generation Intel and AMD sockets. A magnetic top cover provides convenient access during installation, while DeepCool DM9 thermal compound is supplied for creating the thermal interface between the processor and cooler.
