Dahua WizSense SMD Plus uses intelligent algorithms to distinguish people and vehicles from other motion. Supporting up to eight analogue channels, it helps reduce false alarms caused by leaves, rain and lighting changes.

Advanced Perimeter Protection

AI-powered perimeter protection supports tripwire and intrusion detection. The recorder provides up to four channels in general mode or two channels in advanced mode, helping identify relevant activity around protected areas.

Face Recognition and QuickPick 2.0

Two-channel face recognition supports comparison against configured face databases. QuickPick 2.0 improves the efficiency of locating relevant targets in recorded footage, making event investigation more convenient.

Efficient AI Coding and H.265+ Compression

AI Coding prioritises important image details while reducing bandwidth and storage requirements. Smart H.265+ compression further optimises recording efficiency for compatible surveillance applications.

Flexible IP Camera Expansion

The recorder supports four IP cameras by default and can accommodate up to twelve IP channels when analogue channels are converted. Compatible IP cameras can provide resolutions up to 6MP, with up to 64Mbps incoming bandwidth.

Flexible Recording Performance

The DVR supports analogue video input up to 5MP, with multiple recording resolutions including 5M-N, 4M-N, 1080p and 720p. Available recording frame rates depend on the selected resolution, channel and encoding configuration.

High-Capacity Storage

One SATA hard drive bay supports capacities up to 16TB for continuous and event-based video recording. Actual recording retention depends on the installed hard drive, camera settings, frame rates and compression.

HDMI and VGA Monitoring

HDMI and VGA outputs support compatible displays at resolutions up to 1920 x 1080. Multiple display layouts allow convenient live viewing of connected cameras and playback of recorded footage.

Audio and Alarm Integration

Eight RCA audio inputs, coaxial audio support, eight alarm inputs and three alarm outputs allow integration with compatible security equipment. An RS-485 interface also supports compatible PTZ camera control.

Remote Monitoring and Playback

Wired Ethernet connectivity enables network access, remote configuration and video monitoring through compatible Dahua software and mobile applications. USB and network backup options simplify exporting recorded footage.

Compact Mini 1U Design
