16-channel Penta-brid Compatibility

The XVR1B16-I supports HDCVI, AHD, TVI, CVBS and IP video technologies, allowing integration with multiple camera types. Its 16 BNC inputs provide flexible support for compatible analogue surveillance systems.

Intelligent SMD Plus Detection

WizSense SMD Plus provides intelligent human and vehicle classification across up to eight analogue channels. This helps reduce false alerts caused by environmental movement, including leaves, rain and changing lighting conditions.

Efficient AI Coding and H.265+

AI Coding helps optimise bandwidth and storage by prioritising important surveillance details. Smart H.265+ compression further reduces recording storage requirements compared with older compression methods.

Flexible IP Camera Expansion

The recorder supports two IP camera channels by default, with up to 18 IP channels possible when analogue channels are converted. Compatible IP cameras can support resolutions up to 6MP, with a maximum incoming bandwidth of 64Mbps.

HDMI and VGA Monitoring

HDMI and VGA outputs allow connection to compatible monitors for live viewing, configuration and playback. Display layouts include single-camera, four-camera, eight-camera, nine-camera and sixteen-camera views.

Expandable Surveillance Storage

A single SATA hard drive bay supports storage capacities up to 16TB, providing space for continuous or event-based surveillance recording. Available recording time depends on camera settings, compression and installed drive capacity.

Remote Monitoring and Playback

Network connectivity enables remote viewing and management through compatible Dahua software and mobile applications. Recordings can be searched and played back locally or through supported network connections.

Audio and Security Integration

The DVR supports audio over coaxial cable with compatible cameras, an RCA audio input and output, and two-way audio using the first channel's shared audio input. It also provides video loss, tampering and storage-related alerts.

Compact and Energy-Efficient Design

The compact 1U housing measures 260 x 231.4 x 47.6mm and is designed for desktop installation. Its embedded Linux operating system provides dedicated surveillance management functionality.
