The Dahua XVR1B04-I(512G) is a compact four-channel WizSense digital video recorder supplied with a preinstalled 512 GB solid-state drive. Its penta-brid design supports HDCVI, AHD, TVI, CVBS and IP cameras, making it suitable for new installations as well as upgrades that need to retain existing coaxial cabling.

512 GB SSD Preinstalled

The internal 512 GB SSD is ready for recording without requiring a separate drive installation. Dahua estimates approximately 22 days of storage under its default recording settings, although actual retention will depend on the number of cameras, resolution, frame rate, bitrate, compression format, activity level and recording schedule.

Flexible Penta-brid Camera Support

Four BNC inputs automatically detect compatible HDCVI, AHD, TVI and CVBS camera signals. The recorder also provides one IP camera channel by default, allowing a standard configuration of four analogue cameras and one IP camera. Analogue channels can be converted into IP channels when an all-IP or mixed installation requires a different channel arrangement.

WizSense SMD Plus

Four-channel recorder-side SMD Plus analyses motion events from the analogue channels and applies secondary filtering for people and motor vehicles. This helps reduce notifications caused by less relevant movement such as rain, leaves or changes in lighting conditions.

Storage-Efficient AI Coding

AI Coding prioritises image detail around people and vehicles while reducing unnecessary data in other areas of the scene. The recorder also supports H.265+, H.265, H.264+ and H.264 compression, allowing the recording profile to be selected according to storage, compatibility and image-quality requirements.

Local and Remote Monitoring

HDMI and VGA outputs support local monitor resolutions up to 1920 × 1080. The recorder can also be accessed over a network through a compatible web browser or supported iOS and Android application, with P2P connectivity available for suitable remote-viewing configurations.
