The Dahua XVR1B04-I(1T) is a compact four-channel WizSense digital video recorder supplied with a preinstalled 1 TB solid-state drive. Its penta-brid architecture supports HDCVI, AHD, TVI, CVBS and IP cameras, making it suitable for small surveillance installations and upgrades that need to retain existing coaxial cabling.

Preinstalled 1 TB SSD

The internal 1 TB SSD provides recording storage without requiring the installer to purchase and fit a separate drive. Dahua estimates approximately 44 days of video retention under its default settings, although the actual period will depend on the camera count, resolution, frame rate, bitrate, compression format, scene activity and recording schedule.

Five-format Camera Compatibility

Four BNC inputs automatically detect compatible HDCVI, AHD, TVI and CVBS camera signals. One IP camera can be added alongside the four analogue channels in the standard configuration, while analogue inputs can be converted to IP channels when an installation requires up to five IP cameras.

WizSense SMD Plus

Four-channel recorder-side SMD Plus applies secondary filtering to motion events from the analogue channels. It distinguishes people and motor vehicles from less relevant movement, helping reduce notifications caused by rain, leaves and changes in lighting conditions.

AI Coding and Smart Compression

AI Coding prioritises useful detail around people and vehicles while reducing unnecessary data in less important areas of the scene. The recorder also supports H.265+, H.265, H.264+ and H.264 compression, providing a range of options for balancing storage use, bandwidth and compatibility.

Local and Remote Access

HDMI and VGA connections support local displays at resolutions up to 1920 × 1080. Network connectivity enables browser access, P2P services and compatible mobile viewing from supported iOS and Android devices, subject to the installation’s network and security configuration.
