The Dahua IPC-PFW3849S-A180-AS-PV is a dual-sensor TiOC network camera designed to capture a seamless 180° panoramic view from a single installation point. Two 4MP sensors combine to produce a stitched image with a maximum resolution of 4096 × 1860, helping users monitor broad entrances, forecourts, boundaries and open areas with fewer visual blind spots.

The camera combines WizSense human and vehicle classification with SMD 4.0, EPTZ tracking, Smart Dual Light and red-and-blue light active deterrence. Integrated dual microphones, a speaker and external audio and alarm connections provide additional options for two-way communication, warnings and security-system integration.

Seamless 180° Panoramic Monitoring

Dual 1/2.7-inch CMOS sensors and fixed 2.8 mm lenses capture adjoining views that are combined into one 180° panoramic image. This wide perspective makes the camera particularly useful where a conventional camera might require multiple devices to monitor the same broad area.

8MP Stitched Video Output

The camera produces a maximum stitched resolution of 4096 × 1860 at up to 20 frames per second. Three independently configurable video streams help support different live-viewing, recording and remote-access requirements.

Smart Dual Light Technology

During normal night-time monitoring, the camera can use infrared illumination to provide discreet black-and-white video. When a target is detected within the monitored area, the warm light can activate to record important events in colour. The infrared LEDs provide illumination at distances up to 25 metres, while the warm lights reach up to 20 metres.

Active Light and Sound Deterrence

Red-and-blue warning lights and audible messages can be activated when a supported perimeter event occurs. The built-in speaker includes selectable warning messages and supports the importing of compatible customised audio, allowing the camera to provide an immediate response to detected activity.

Human and Vehicle Classification

WizSense perimeter protection supports intrusion and tripwire rules with human and vehicle classification. SMD 4.0 also uses intelligent target filtering to distinguish people and vehicles from other movement, helping compatible surveillance systems reduce unnecessary event notifications.

EPTZ Intelligent Tracking

Electronic pan, tilt and zoom technology can enlarge and track people or vehicles that trigger intelligent alarms. This allows compatible viewing systems to display target details while retaining the wider panoramic scene.

Integrated Two-way Audio

Two built-in microphones capture audio across the monitored area, while the integrated speaker supports two-way communication. One external RCA audio input and one audio output are also provided for connecting compatible audio equipment.

Flexible Recording and Integration

The camera supports Smart H.265+, Smart H.264+ and AI coding to help manage bandwidth and storage requirements. Recordings can be stored on a MicroSD card with a capacity of up to 256 GB, a supported NAS device, or compatible network recording equipment.
