The Dahua NVR608H-64-XI is a 64-channel WizMind network video recorder designed for large, high-demand IP surveillance systems. Its high network bandwidth, extensive AI processing capabilities and eight hot-swappable SATA drive bays provide a scalable platform for centralised recording, intelligent event management and multi-screen monitoring.

High-Capacity Surveillance Management

Supporting up to 64 IP camera channels and camera resolutions up to 32 MP, the NVR can manage detailed video streams across demanding commercial and enterprise surveillance installations. With recorder AI disabled, it provides up to 1280 Mbps incoming and recording bandwidth, together with up to 1024 Mbps outgoing bandwidth.

Advanced WizMind Intelligence

Built-in AI processing supports face detection and recognition, video metadata, perimeter protection, SMD Plus, AcuPick and PPE detection. Compatible intelligent cameras can extend the system with features including ANPR, stereo analysis, people counting, crowd distribution and heat maps.

The recorder supports up to 40 face databases containing a combined total of 300,000 face images. Its 32-channel SMD Plus function applies secondary filtering for people and motor vehicles, helping reduce false alarms caused by conditions such as leaves, rain and changes in lighting.

Flexible Storage and System Resilience

Eight SATA interfaces accommodate drives of up to 20 TB each, subject to environmental temperature. The drawer-style chassis supports hot swapping, while RAID 0, 1, 5, 6 and 10 options provide flexibility when balancing storage capacity, performance and data resilience. N+M clustering and iSCSI support make the recorder suitable for more complex surveillance architectures.

Multi-Screen Monitoring

Four HDMI and two VGA outputs provide flexible control-room display options. HDMI 3 supports resolutions up to 8K in simultaneous output mode, while the main screen can display as many as 64 camera windows. Up to 16 recorded channels can be played back at the same time.
